HOW ABOUT THAT EXTRA FROSTING?

“I went for the extra frosting on the Coffee Almond Donut because it was just too good!" 

We all have different reasons for enjoying a little extra frosting, right?

For this NUVO FÜDS customer, it just felt right to indulge, as she found the frosting irresistible in the moment. Another taster might actually prefer extra frosting as a general practice, even if said donut already has a generous amount. And then those who would simply not partake of it have an equally respectable and valid approach.

Still within the realm of possibility are forward-thinkers who might save the extra frosting for their daily toast, weekend waffle or periodic pancake -- or even stir it into their hot coffee (being coconut-butter based, it readily dissolves). Some will even venture to savor the frosting as a stand-alone superfood keto snack!... My personal favorite.

You get the idea.  

Ultimately, do we really need a reason? 

As eaters, certainly not. But as consumers, it certainly begs the question: WHAT'S WITH THE EXTRA FROSTING?... Isn't there already an adequate amount on the donuts and muffins? (By the way, we call it "spread" on our muffins -- basically the same thing with more flavor nuance.)  

Well, the short answer is that I wanted, as the creator of the products, to offer a little something extra that would bring a smile and provide further nourishment -- and also translate our crafted approach. A more involved proposition is that I somehow wanted to show that something so full of superfood goodness could also offer a versatile indulgence for anytime enjoyment. That's why I called it "frosting" or "spread" and not glaze, because I wanted something more substantial in texture and nutrition gracing the pastry base, while not dominating it either.

Have I succeeded in realizing my intentions?... Only time and experience will tell. But one thing's for sure -- it's up to you to decide.
